Training

Brush Buster Kennels offers three training programs:

• Program 1:
  Obedience Training
  
  Obedience training consists of teaching your dog basic commands such as sit, stay, heel, come when called, kennel up, and lay down. While every dog is different, this usually takes a month of training.
• Program 2:
  Training for the Hunting Dog
  
  We begin this program with obedience training. Your dog will be electric collar conditioned, taught to quarter in the field, and learn to work with other dogs. During the course of training, your dog will be exposed to many birds. We will train your dog to fit your hunting needs, whether it is for upland game or waterfowl. Allow two to three months for hunter training.
• Program 3:
  Hunt Test or Field Trial Dogs
  
  This training consist of obedience, force breaking, collar conditioning, whistle training, and hand signals. Your dog will have many birds thrown for them to help them gain strong marking abilities. We would also be happy to handle your dog at tests if you would like to get him/her titled.

Boarding

Brush Busters offers boarding services. Let us care for you dog while you are on vacation. Our kennel offers ample space to exercise your dog, and make him/her feel at home.
